Product Designer (Inventor/Sheet Metal) Bournemouth, Dorset £40,000 - £50,000 + Training + Company Benefits + Days Based + Overtime + Progression This market leading manufacturer provide a diverse range of ventilation solutions products for a broad and growing client base across the UK including Educational, Commercial and Industrial Sectors. They have seen continual growth since their establishment and are looking to grow their UK design team to assist with ongoing growth across new sectors. This varied role will see you working on a range of ventilation projects from conception through to delivery. You will be responsible for developing, testing and refining HVAC products, managing orders and productions of fans and interpreting customer requirements. You will work within the tight-knit team of 2 other product designers in addition to liaising with admin, manufacturing and other departments. This dynamic role would suit a Product Designer or similar who is proficient in Inventor and has Sheet Metal experience looking to work on a specialist product range for a broad client base within a UK leading company who offer progression.The Role:
- Assist with new product development for a broad range of Ventilation products
- Develop, testing and refining prototype samples
- Support specification, manufacturing and other departments
- Be part of a tight-knit team of 3
- Producing flat pattern developments ready for punching and folding on the shop floor
The Person:
- Product Designer or similar
- Proficient in Inventor
- Commutable to Bournemouth
- Sheet Metal experience
