Our client, a leading manufacturer with over 30 years of industry expertise, is seeking a talented Product Design Engineer to join their growing team in Lancaster. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in the development of innovative products across a range of sectors, including Medical, Laboratory, Automotive, and other high-tech industries.
As a Product Design Engineer, you will be involved in the full product life cycle, from initial concept and customer brief through to final production. You'll be responsible for developing new products, enhancing existing designs, and ensuring projects are delivered on time and to the highest standards.
This role would suit an engineer who enjoys solving complex design challenges, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and seeing their ideas develop into commercially successful products.
Essential Experience
- Proficiency in SolidWorks and 3D CAD design.
- Proven experience in engineering design and product development projects.
- Strong understanding of Design for Manufacture (DFM) principles.
- Degree qualified in Engineering, Product Design, or a related discipline.
