Based at a global Manufacturer near Desford

24-month contract opportunity (4-week notice period)

PAYE rate £22.20 (plus 35 days holiday pay per annum and pension contribution) OR an umbrella rate of £30.50 (holiday/pension/employer costs included)

The opportunity:

Are you an Engineer keen to work with a global manufacturer of Off Highway Machinery? Do you understand the design process and are up for the challenge of becoming a direct link from the machines built in the factory to what is put out into the field for customers?

If so, this is a unique opportunity to do just that! We are looking for someone with a solid understanding of change control processes, knowledge of Teamcenter, and ideally Creo 3D CAD system, with superb attention to detail. We want to hear from you!

In brief, what you will do:

• Review engineering change data and documentation to ensure compliance with change management policies.

• Communicate and coordinate changes with wider business functions.

• Prepare configuration documentation required to support product development.

• Support machine product groups in corporate engineering systems and process improvement projects.

Working with very experienced engineers, as a Product Configuration Engineer, you will:

• Build a strong foundation in configuration and change management.

• Develop expertise in PLM systems, CAD integration, and complex product architectures.

• Gain experience in a global manufacturing and engineering environment with opportunities to expand into design, systems, or product management roles in the future.

• Have career progression within this very big company on your CV!
