Job Description

As a Product and Propositions Manager - Business Insurance, you will work with external partners and internal stakeholders to drive product innovation for our Business Banking clients. You will oversee sales performance and governance while ensuring compliance and operational alignment. Working in an Agile environment, you will collaborate closely with our partners to drive growth initiatives and explore future product opportunities.

To be successful in this role, you should have experience with:

This role will be based in London.

Purpose of the role

Manage and develop existing and new products and/or services; ownership of related customer and colleague journeys; develop the product strategy; drive change through Barclays execution teams; make key decisions in the product lifecycle; own outcomes for customers, colleagues, and the bank, ensuring service level agreements, regulatory compliance, risk management, and controls are maintained.

Accountabilities
  • Develop customer-specific strategies and solutions.
  • Be a Subject Matter Expert in the applicable Product/Proposition team, guiding stakeholders on existing and new products and journeys.
  • Develop product propositions and service strategies, define priorities, and lead their execution.
  • Understand financial drivers of the P&L to develop various commercial and business models.
  • Evaluate technical feasibility, legal compliance, and risks related to new product development and launch.
  • Monitor market trends and gather feedback to identify improvements before launch.
  • Manage launch plans, including timelines, marketing, training, and communication strategies.
  • Monitor key metrics such as adoption, usage, satisfaction, and revenue to assess performance.
