We're looking for a

Product Analyst, Finance Systems

Reporting to the Product Manager, Finance Systems, the Product Analyst will assist in the delivery of the key system products that support the overall finance systems and help improve the Finance team's ability to deliver high quality outputs as efficiently as possible, whilst ensuring the systems are maintained and remain secure.

What you will do

  • Work closely with the Product Manager and the Finance stakeholders to assist in system updates, fixes, and the implementation of new functionality / solutions
  • Ensure that all defects / incidents and changes are recorded with the proper evidence and assist in configuring system updates and troubleshooting
  • Maintain product queries and resolution log
  • Assist in managing and developing data integration from other systems
  • Liaise with system vendors to resolve functional queries and system performance issues
  • Assist in the Vendor Management process for respective products
  • Assist in maintaining the highest standards and adherence to security controls around data and system integrity, evidencing effective operation of controls for internal and external audits
  • Responsible for user onboarding / offboarding of finance systems
  • Engage with product users throughout the business and participate in user groups
  • Maintain key reference data within finance systems
  • Provide ongoing support and help identify opportunities to improve the quality and effectiveness of finance systems, reducing complexity and improving user experience
  • Provide End-User Training
  • Assist in systems testing following operating software updates

What you require for the role

  • Five plus years' experience of working with Infor SunSystems
  • Demonstrable knowledge of finance operations and experience in data management and reporting
  • Proven track record of using Finance Systems to improve finance processes, overcoming complex challenges in these systems
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, confident in communicating systems issues in a way that can be understood by all stakeholders
  • Ability to work collaboratively across various business teams and at all levels of the organization
  • A willingness to learn the Hamilton finance systems and business processes
  • Experience of working in a global company
  • Experience of working in a SOX regulatory environment preferred
  • Accounting knowledge preferred
  • Confident in working with third party vendors
