Job Description
- Develop and implement procurement strategies for battery energy storage systems within the consultancy sector.
- Manage supplier relationships to ensure quality, cost-efficiency, and timely delivery of goods and services.
- Conduct market analysis to identify potential suppliers and evaluate their capabilities.
- Negotiate contracts, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
- Collaborate with internal teams to align procurement activities with project requirements.
- Travel to client sites is required for this position.
- Monitor and report on procurement performance metrics and implement improvements as needed.
- Ensure sustainability and ethical sourcing practices are integrated into the procurement process.
- Manage budgets effectively to achieve cost savings while maintaining quality standards.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Procurement Manager should have:
- Proven experience in procurement and supply chain management within the consultancy industry is desired but not required.
- Prior experience in the procurement activities of battery energy storage systems is required.
- Strong understanding of battery energy storage systems and related technologies.
- Excellent negotiation and contract management skills.
- Ability to analyse market trends and supplier performance effectively.
