Procurement Buyer - Energy & Infrastructure (Nuclear)

Manchester Up to £50,000 + Package

If you want to build deep procurement experience within a regulated, high-impact environment, this role offers exactly that. You'll support procurement activity on a major nuclear energy site, working on long-term infrastructure programmes that genuinely matter.

You will be involved in end-to-end procurement across engineering, construction and infrastructure packages, operating under NEC and JCT contracts. This role will expose you to complex procurement challenges, safety-critical environments and nationally significant energy projects.

Responsibilities

• You will support procurement delivery across nuclear and energy infrastructure programmes
• You will manage sourcing, tendering and contract award activity under NEC and JCT
• You will work closely with engineering, project and commercial teams on live procurement packages
• You will support supplier performance and contract compliance
• You will contribute to continuous improvement across energy procurement processes

What you'll need

This role is ideal for you if

• You have procurement experience within energy, infrastructure or engineering
• You've had exposure to NEC and/or JCT contracts
• You're comfortable operating in regulated or safety-critical environments
• You're commercially minded and confident working with stakeholders
