Job Description
Responsibilities 
- Leading the development and implementation of the Greatwell Homes Procurement Plan to ensure compliance with Procurement Act 2023 and delivery of value for money.
- Working closely with colleagues across the organisation to understand procurement needs and provide a proactive, agile service.
- Monitoring business trends, product availability and total spend to secure the best goods and services without compromising quality or delivery times.
- Researching new products and services that support the Corporate Plan.
- Updating procurement policies and procedures and co ordinating e tendering activity.
- Managing category and supplier performance, including due diligence, contract management and maintaining the preferred supplier list.
- Keeping procurement documentation up to date and easily accessible on the intranet and website.
- Maintaining the Contract Register and ensuring compliance with Financial Regulations and Contract Standing Orders.
- Building strong professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Developing and monitoring procurement related risks and reporting to relevant teams.
- Acting as Lead Officer for Value for Money, including maintaining the efficiency register and supporting the production of an up to date VFM statement.
- Attending internal and external meetings with suppliers and contractors.
- Supporting cross team working and contributing to the delivery of the Corporate Plan.

Location: Remote working with an option to book a desk in our Wellingborough office
