Job Description- Develop and implement process safety management systems to ensure compliance with industry regulations.
- Conduct risk assessments and hazard analysis to identify and mitigate potential safety issues.
- Provide technical guidance to engineering teams on safety protocols and best practices.
- Lead incident investigations and recommend corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to establish and maintain a culture of safety.
- Oversee training programmes to ensure staff are equipped with necessary safety knowledge.
- Monitor and report on process safety performance metrics to senior management.
- Stay updated on regulatory changes and implement necessary adjustments to maintain compliance.
A successful Process Safety Manager should have:
- A degree in engineering, safety management, or a related field.
- Proven expertise in process safety within the energy and natural resources industry.
- Strong knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- The ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams effectively.
- A proactive approach to identifying and mitigating risks.
- Competitive salary ranging from £90,000 to £100,000 per annum.
- £5,800 car allowance.
