Based at a highly regulated pharmaceutical manufacturing site in Ballydine, Co. Tipperary, you'll be at the centre of new process and product introduction - including product transfer - shaping how things get made before they even reach the line. If you like solving real problems, not just documenting them, this is the kind of role where your fingerprints end up on the process itself.
You'll bring Lean Six Sigma and Change Management into daily practice, lead cross-functional investigations, and turn data into decisions the whole site acts on. It's engineering with visible impact - the kind of work you can point to and say, "I made that better."
If you're a Process Engineer, Maintenance Engineer, Manufacturing Engineer or technical professional with regulated industry experience, and you're ready to stop maintaining the status quo and start driving improvement, this is your next move.
What you'll be working on- Introduce new processes and products, including product transfer.
- Apply Lean Six Sigma and Change Management tools to real problems.
- Lead and/or participate in cross-functional investigations into problems and deviations, including corrective and preventive actions.
- Identify and prioritise technical and business process improvement opportunities.
- Coordinate improvements to processes, systems and behaviours.
- Lead projects, facilitate Kaizens, and coach sponsors and practitioners.
- Support manufacturing operations in compliance with quality, safety and environmental regulations.
- A Mechanical, Electrical or Instrumentation background.
- Regulated industry experience - Medical Device or Food specifically - essential.
- Experience with a Maintenance Management System (the site currently uses SAP and is transitioning to EAM).
- Calibration experience (ProCal is used onsite).
- A good understanding of electrical components, including sourcing the correct spare parts.
- Strong communication skills for working with vendors and onsite technicians.
- Comfort working in a highly regulated safety environment, with correct PPE use and zero tolerance for safety violations.
