Process Engineer

About the Role

We are currently seeking a driven and hands-on Process Engineer to join our dynamic team at a manufacturing site in the West Flanders region. This role offers the opportunity to play a central part in optimizing and innovating production and maintenance processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as the primary contact for identifying and implementing improvements in production and maintenance workflows.
• Develop structured improvement plans and collaborate with the production and maintenance managers to ensure high-quality execution.
• Define technical standards related to production, maintenance, energy usage, and quality, and translate these into clear procedures and training materials.
• Monitor energy consumption and CO emissions, and serve as the key contact for related improvement initiatives.
• Provide support in areas such as safety, environmental standards, and energy management.
• Work closely with, and report directly to, the production management team.

Profile:

• A degree in Industrial Engineering, Electromechanical, or a related field. Motivated recent graduates are welcome to apply.
• A strong interest in technology, automation, and process optimization.
• Solid technical knowledge in mechanics, electrical systems, pneumatics, and hydraulics.
• Strong organizational abilities, with a knack for setting clear priorities.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to work in a structured and results-oriented manner.
• Clear and persuasive communication skills.
• Proficiency in Dutch and a good working knowledge of French and English.
• A team player who thrives in a collaborative environment.
