Role: Process Commissioning Engineer

Location: Glenfarg

Rate: £500 p/d (All in Rate)

Duration: 18 Months + /ongoing

Sector: Water/Wastewater Treatment

Are you an experienced Process Commissioning Engineer in the water sector?
Do you have a background in chemical management of Wastewater & water Recycling schemes?
We are seeking an experienced Process Commissioning Engineer to join a team for an immediate start. This role is Outside IR35 and requires full-time availability on a Scottish Water site in Glenfarg.

Responsibilities
  • Leading and managing the commissioning activities for water and wastewater treatment plants.
  • Developing detailed commissioning plans, method statements, and risk assessments.
  • Carrying out site-based commissioning of process systems.
  • Optimizing system performance to meet design and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborating with designers, contractors, and project teams to resolve technical challenges.
  • Conducting system testing, troubleshooting, and performance validation.
  • Delivering comprehensive handover documentation and training to end users.
Requirements
  • Strong experience in process commissioning, within the water/waste water industries.
  • Background and relevant qualification in Chemical Engineering
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and lead site-based activities
  • Excellent communication skills for liaising with contractors and operations teams
  • Comfortable with producing detailed reports and documentation
