Private Waiter / Junior Butler

Chelsea, London , Salary: £25 gross per hour

Our client, based in Chelsea, is seeking an experienced and polished Private Waiter / Server to join a fully staffed private household.

The role will focus predominantly on relaxed, day-to-day family service, rather than exclusively formal entertaining. You will work closely under the direction of the Head Housekeeper and become an integral part of the household team.

This is a fixed-term position until 31st July 2027, with the possibility of an extension. The position is available to start ASAP.

The Role

• Provide attentive and professional food and beverage service to the family


• Set, clear and reset tables for daily family meals


• Prepare service areas for meals, refreshments and informal entertaining


• Maintain immaculate presentation of dining and service areas


• Support with guest service and household entertaining when required


• Anticipate the family's needs while remaining discreet and unobtrusive


• Work closely and collaboratively with the wider household team


• Maintain exceptional standards of hygiene, presentation and discretion at all times

The Ideal Candidate

• Previous experience within a private household, luxury hospitality, five-star hotel or fine-dining environment


• Polished, professional and exceptionally well presented


• Warm and personable, with a natural and intuitive approach to service


• Proactive and attentive without being intrusive


• Excellent attention to detail and high personal standards


• Comfortable working as part of an established household team


• Discreet, reliable and dependable


• Able to provide excellent checkable references

Duration: Fixed term until 31st July 2027, with potential to extend
Hours: 2:00pm - 8:00pm
Days: 5-6 days per week, to be confirmed
