Location: Berkshire (Reading) (2-3 days) / Central London (1 day optional) Hybrid working 2-3 days working from home (DOE).
Salary: £35,000 - £47,000 (DOE)

The RoleWe're looking for a Personal Tax Senior to join our growing tax team. The role is primarily compliance-focused (about 80%) but also offers meaningful advisory exposure (around 20%) that arises naturally through working closely with clients.
You'll be involved with a high-calibre and varied portfolio including HNWIs, international individuals, property clients, sole traders, and trusts. The role includes ownership of a portfolio of around 150 clients, with autonomy to build relationships and take ownership of your workflow and client communications.
Key ResponsibilitiesManaging a portfolio of approx. 150 personal tax clients (compliance and advisory).
Preparing and reviewing personal tax returns.
Advising clients on:
Residence and domicile issues
Pension and tapering planning
Trust and estate matters
Capital gains and IHT strategies
SEIS/EMI (if of interest)
Attending client meetings alongside senior staff and partners.
Building strong, lasting client relationships.
Collaborating closely with corporate tax, accounts, and wider internal teams.
Supporting the team with the annual workload of approx. 500-600 tax returns.
What We're Looking ForMinimum 3 years' experience in personal tax, ideally within practice.
ATT and/or CTA qualified, or QBE with relevant experience.
Confident and self-sufficient - able to manage your own portfolio.
A strong communicator with a personable, down-to-earth style.
A team player who values openness, support, and flexibility.
Enjoys client-facing work - including meetings, socialising, and building rapport.
