Job Description
Primary Purpose of Role 
The primary responsibility of this role will be to provide personal, trust and estate tax compliance and associated advisory services to a mix of clients. Also, provide assistance to the Senior Manager / Director / Partners in both compliance and advisory client work.
Key Duties- Main point of contact for clients to obtain relevant facts to process the client file.
- Preparation of and reviewing personal self-assessment tax returns and claims for HNW individuals, trusts and estates. (Preparation will be mainly for more complex returns and reviewing will be mainly for more basic returns).
- Preparation and submission of Capital Gains Tax / Income / Inheritance tax reporting forms.
- Dealing with HMRC enquiries, penalty notices etc.
- Liaising with clients and building and maintaining relationships.
- Advising on day to day tax queries from clients.
- Supporting more senior staff in the Private Client Tax department with tax planning, including preparing IHT/CGT computations, wealth schedules and packs for advisory meetings.
- Supporting more senior staff in the Private Client Tax department with processes and efficiencies.
- Coach and mentor junior members of the team to ensure compliance and service delivery.
