Private Client Tax Partner - Thames Valley

Salary: £150,000 - £180,000 + Bonus + Benefits

Location: Thames Valley

An established and highly respected independent accountancy firm is looking to appoint a Private Client Tax Partner as part of its ongoing growth and long-term succession planning strategy. This opportunity has arisen following a recent Partner retirement and offers the chance to join a well resourced and collaborative Private Client team.

The firm maintains a clear commitment to independence and operates within an entrepreneurial, supportive Partner group, providing an attractive platform for an ambitious individual to build and grow their practice.

Responsibilites
  • Take a lead role within the Private Client team, managing and developing a portfolio of high net worth individuals, families, and trusts.
  • Provide advanced technical advice across personal tax planning, including wealth structuring, succession planning, and complex advisory matters.
  • Build and expand your own client base through proactive business development, networking, and relationship management.
  • Collaborate closely with fellow Partners to strengthen the firm's Private Client capabilities and contribute to strategic growth initiatives.
  • Support and mentor junior members of the team, fostering development and maintaining high standards of technical delivery and client service.
  • Play an active role in shaping and evolving the Private Client service line, identifying opportunities for innovation and growth.
Qualification and experience
  • ACA, ACCA, or CTA qualified with significant experience in Private Client Tax within a UK professional services environment.
  • Currently operating at Director or Partner level, with a strong track record in personal tax advisory work.
  • Demonstrable technical expertise in private client matters, including complex tax planning and advisory services.
  • Commercially driven, with the ability to generate new business and cultivate long term client relationships.
  • Leadership experience, with the ability to work collaboratively within a Partner group and contribute to firm wide objectives.
