An outstanding opportunity has arisen for an experienced Private Client Solicitor (4+ years' PQE) to join the market-leading practice of our client, an award-winning Irish commercial law firm in Dublin. The firm offers a highly supportive, forward-thinking, and sustainable working environment.

Roles and Responsibilities
  • Estate & Trust Administration: Lead the administration and winding-up of complex, high-value estates and trusts for private individuals, trustees, and beneficiaries both in Ireland and overseas.
  • Comprehensive Wealth & Estate Planning: Deliver tailored succession planning advice, capital tax structuring (CAT/CGT), draft complex Wills and Trust Wills, and advise on asset transfers via gift or inheritance.
  • Capacity & Decision Support: Advise clients on Powers of Attorney, Enduring Powers of Attorney, Decision-Making Representative Orders, and legacy Wardship discharge matters.
  • Contentious Probate & ADR: Manage contentious estate matters, leveraging alternative dispute resolution (mediation/arbitration) and court representation to protect client interests.
  • Collaborative Practice & Client Relations: Work cross-functionally with internal teams while maintaining empathy, sensitivity, and long-term client relationships.
Job Requirements
  • Qualified Solicitor in Ireland with a minimum of 4+ years' PQE specialising in Private Client / Wills, Probate & Estate Planning in Ireland.
  • Strong technical knowledge of probate law, trust administration, capacity legislation, and relevant capital tax principles.
  • STEP qualification is desirable but not essential.
  • Experience in handling contentious probate matters and/or alternative dispute resolution pathways is advantageous.
  • High degree of empathy, emotional intelligence, and discretion when handling sensitive family matters.
  • Highly organised approach to managing a varied caseload, paired with strong client-facing interpersonal skills.
