Job Description

We are recruiting for a Private Client Solicitor to join an established team in Devon. The role offers a salary between £40,000 and £55,000 depending on experience and is suited to a qualified lawyer with at least three years' PQE. You will manage a varied caseload covering wills, powers of attorney, tax planning, estate administration and Court of Protection matters. Strong communication skills, meticulous attention to detail and the ability to collaborate within a team are essential. The position also involves contributing to departmental growth through marketing and networking activities, providing a supportive environment focused on professional development and work life balance.

The Role
  • Handle a varied private client caseload including wills, powers of attorney, tax planning, estate administration and Court of Protection work.
  • Demonstrate exceptional communication skills and attention to detail while working effectively in a team environment.
  • Participate in the development of the department and use marketing and networking to support growth.

Skills Required
  • Private Client Solicitor or Legal Executive with a minimum of 3 years PQE.
  • Self sufficient, proactive working style.
  • Ability to manage your own caseload and administration with appropriate support.
  • Membership of STEP would be advantageous.
