About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Private Client Solicitor (5+ years PQE) to join our well-established and growing Private Client department. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated solicitor who is looking to take the next step in their career within a supportive and professional firm. The successful candidate will handle a varied caseload of private client matters while providing high-quality advice and exceptional client care.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing a varied caseload of private client matters including:
  • Wills and estate planning
  • Probate and estate administration
  • Lasting Powers of Attorney
  • Trusts and inheritance tax planning
  • Court of Protection matters (desirable)
• Providing clear, practical legal advice to clients
• Drafting legal documents and correspondence
• Handling matters from instruction through to completion
• Building and maintaining strong client relationships
• Contributing to the growth and development of the private client department

Requirements

• Qualified Solicitor with 5+ years PQE in Private Client work
• Strong technical knowledge of wills, probate, and estate planning
• Experience managing a full private client caseload independently
• Excellent communication and client care skills
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail
