Private Client Solicitor

A Private Client, Wills & Probate Solicitor or Legal Executive from 4 years PQE, is required for a top law firm close to Dorking.

Experience required for this Private Client, Wills and Probate vacancy:

• Handling a wide caseload of private client matters
• Drafting willsincluding drafting life interest trusts and vulnerable person trusts, and understand inheritance tax planning that could be applied when the wills are being drafted.
• Experience in administering estates, which would include estates that are liable to inheritance tax and dealing with the submission of an IHT400 to HM Revenue & Customs
• Experience in preparing and registering lasting powers of attorney
• Additional experience in trust management and Court of Protection applications and general management of a person's financial affairs would be useful, but not essential

The Candidate

• 4 years + PQE within the area of Private Client
• Have great attention to detail
• Works well under pressure
• Excellent client care skills
• Excellent communication skills with a client-focused approach
• Able to explain matters in clear, accessible language
• Ability to manage a busy, varied caseload (ideally including high net worth clients), with efficiency and care.
• IT literate
