Private Client Solicitor - Client Facing - 2+ PQE

Overview

At QED Legal, we're working with a progressive Scottish firm seeking to add to their Private Client team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Solicitor with experience in private client work who wants to play an important role in a close-knit, supportive, and highly respected department.

Responsibilities

• Provide client-focused private client services, including guidance through executries, wills and tax planning, powers of attorney, trusts and guardianships.
• Deliver a service that goes beyond the technical, offering reassurance, practical guidance and a steady hand when it matters most.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships with clarity, compassion and accessibility.
• Autonomously run your own matters while being supported by experienced colleagues and encouraged to develop your skills.
• Engage in business development, networking and representing the firm in the community.

Qualifications and qualities

• Solid private client experience with awareness of tax implications around executries and wills.
• Ability to handle accounts where needed.
• Strong communication skills with warmth and accessibility.
• Enjoy building relationships as much as solving legal problems.
• Willingness to contribute to business development and community representation.
