Job Description
Job Title: Private Client ParalegalLocation: TowcesterSalary: Competitive (DOE)Type: Permanent, Full-Time We are delighted to be working with a well-established and highly regarded law firm in Towcester, who are looking to appoint an experienced Private Client Paralegal to join their friendly and supportive team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with solid Private Client experience who is looking to further develop their career within a collaborative and professional environment. You will play a key role in supporting the department, managing client interactions and progressing a varied caseload.Key Responsibilities:
  • Drafting Wills, including more complex cases involving property trusts and multiple beneficiaries
  • Preparing Lasting Powers of Attorney (LPAs)
  • Assisting with Estate Administration matters from instruction through to completion
  • Supporting the preparation of Estate Accounts
  • Managing day-to-day file administration and ensuring matters progress efficiently
  • Liaising with clients, providing a professional and empathetic service
  • Supporting fee earners and the Head of Department with casework and administration
  • Contributing to marketing initiatives where appropriate
The Ideal Candidate:
  • Minimum of 2-3 years' experience within a Private Client Paralegal role
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • High attention to detail and commitment to producing accurate work
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Proactive, reliable and able to hit the ground running
Desirable:
  • Experience supporting complex estates or high-value matters
  • Previous exposure to a busy, client-focused legal environment
Benefits & Package:
  • Full-time position, Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm (1-hour lunch between 12:00pm - 2:00pm)
  • 23 days' paid holiday plus Bank Holidays, with an additional 5 days unpaid leave available
  • 3 days of annual leave to be reserved for the Christmas period
  • Holiday year runs January to December
  • 3-month probation period with 1 week's notice during probation, increasing to 1 month thereafter
