Prisoner Escort & Custody Officer - Flexible Shifts

Serco is hiring Prisoner Custody Officers (PCOs) for the Prisoner Escort Custody Services (PECS). You will escort detainees between prisons, police stations and courts, ensuring welfare and safety. You will work on a 24/6 shift pattern with potential overtime and rota-led schedules.

Comprehensive paid training (5 weeks) and clear salary progression are offered. Starting base salary is £28,109 (40 hrs pw), rising to £29,205 from 1 Sept 2026, with year-on-year progression.
