A leading player in its field is looking to recruit a scheduling professional with experience in a print and/or mailing production environment. The role requires lean manufacturing and 5S training, an understanding of production processes, and the ability to identify potential risks.
Role PurposeThe purpose of the role is to identify capacity, plan, estimate and schedule all work in production. You will monitor shift performance, create capacity plans, estimate time, and utilize all available resources. Liaise between operational departments and communicate scheduled status to account management teams.
Responsibilities- Update management on progress of work.
- Use equipment to produce a high standard of work.
- Follow all department procedures at all times.
- Plan work efficiently across multiple devices.
- Perform all duties with due regard to safe working practices and company operating procedures.
Applicants must be resident in the UK and have recent work experience in the print, packaging, or paper sectors.
