Print Finisher - Continental Night Shifts - Essex - Depending on experience

A new and exciting position has become available at one of the UK's fastest growing online print organisations.

Shift Schedule

6pm - 6am, 3 days on, 4 days off + 1 Saturday per month

Stitching Experience Required

Stitching experience required.

Role Responsibilities

• Using various finishing machines: Guillotine, Folding, Creasing and perforating etc. to complete jobs (depending on machine experience)
• Running "test sheets" to ensure final product is in line with customer requirements
• Reporting ordering or printing issues to shift managers
• Ensuring both quality and speed of work is maintained throughout
• Ensuring jobs are completed in a timely manner to meet the despatch deadline
• Maintaining machines to a high standard ensuring minimum downtime
• Assisting with machine fixes and new parts as required
• First aid and Fire Marshall training/duties if required
• Any other duties deemed within your skillset

Experience/Skills Required

• Experience in print finishing is essential - specifically stitching
• Experience using one or more of the following machines: Guillotine, Muller, MBO Folder, Stitcher, Cylinder, Laminator
• Strong work ethic

• Ability to work well as part of a team
• Self motivated
• Excellent eye for detail
