Principal Supply Chain Planner

A Principal Supply Chain Planner is needed by CareerWise Recruitment to drive global planning and projects for our Cork based multinational electronics client. This is a senior role with a mix of strategic and tactical planning as part of a global team.Role of this position Takes full supply execution responsibility for specific key product lines and scheduling of multiple global processes.Provides global planning support & oversight for key planning process improvements.Assesses key global planning metrics and reports to ensure global planning processes are correctly being executed by the global planning teams.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum 8 years' experience in Production Planning and Scheduling
• Minimum 8 years' experience working with an ERP system and Excel
• Honours degree in business, engineering or supply chain
• Excellent communication and presentation skills to interact at all levels
• Strong data analytical skills using relevant IT tools
• Experience of the electronics or semiconductor sector preferred but not essential
