We are currently seeking aPrincipal SoftwareEngineerto join our Engineering Department in New Malden who thrives in collaborative, cross-functional environments and brings technical skills and human understanding - someone who excels in problem-solving, communication and teamwork.
Key responsibilities of this role include:
- Work on full life-cycle software development.
- Supporting diagnosis and correction of software issues experienced in the field.
- Participate in AGILE-based development.
- Participate in code reviews and regular team meetings.
- Liaise with System Test regarding progress of development tasks
- Team leadership
- Strong analytical skills and experience of code and design review for large projects.
- Long Experience of multi-threaded and distributed applications, preferably with an understanding of network protocols.
- Strong, proven experience in a software development environment (ideally over 8 years)
- Strong experience in developing Windows desktop applications in C#
- Experience with .NET environment
- Experience with Windows Forms
- Experience with TCP/IP & UDP protocols
