Pegasystems is growing and our Cloud Acceleration Group is seeking an experienced customer facing expert to take on the vital role of Service Assurance Advisor, Cloud Migrations. This is a pivotal, high profile role, who will lead and guide the regional Service Assurance Advisors (SAAs), Technical Account Managers (TAM), and clients/partners on Cloud Migrations to Pega Cloud Services. The SME will provide best practice advice and guidance on migrating on-premise Pega deployments to Pega Cloud Services. The SME will work cross-functionally with multiple stakeholders across Pega departments to ensure success of Pega migration initiatives. The SME will ensure customer success by striving to keep the Pega clients current on the latest Pega versions. The successful candidate will have excellent consultative skills and a commitment to delivery excellence and continuous improvement. This is a vital role within the organization and is key to Pega's transition to as-a-Service and directly impacts overall customer success and the evolution of our product and service capabilities.

What You'll Do at Pega:Regional Engagement Oversight
- Support, guide, and enable the Service Assurance Advisors (SAA) and Technical Account Managers (TAM) in the region on client engagements as they pertain to Cloud Migrations
- Advise clients and partners in the region on Cloud Migration approach and best practice
- Contribute towards identifying and documenting best practices for migration.
- Ensure best practice guidelines on migration are followed by clients and partners in the region.
- Work with the Migration Service Teams and regional SAAs/TAMs in planning and executing migration projects in the region.
- Qualify new cloud migration engagements in the region working with the regional Sr. Director to forecast SAA resources accordingly
- Capture client and partner feedback from the SAAs/TAMs in the region on migration projects for continuous improvement.
- Work with Pega product engineering, cloud engineering, and operations teams to address and drive feedback to done.
- Assist in research and development on migration best practices, technical documentation, and tooling.
- Align and collaborate with SMEs in other regions to ensure Pega is operating globally and findings are shared
- Capture client and partner feedback from the SAAs/TAMs in the region on migration projects for continuous improvement.
- Work with Pega product engineering, cloud engineering, and operations teams to address and drive feedback to done.
- Assist in research and development on migration best practices, technical documentation, and tooling.
- Align and collaborate with SMEs in other regions to ensure Pega is operating globally and findings are shared
- Proven ability to interact directly with customers at all levels
- Demonstrable experience in quickly understanding complex technical issues, as well as understanding customer end-to-end deployments, products and underlying architecture
- Advanced oral and written communication skills, leadership and poise in pressurized situations
- Demonstrated customer-facing skills including expectation management, communication skills, information management
- Proven effectiveness at leading and facilitating customer meetings and workshops
- Possess strong presentation skills and credibility with all levels of customer organizations
- Ability to rapidly gain in-depth knowledge of existing and new Pega products and services
- Strong decision making and problem-solving skills

- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, or equivalent
- 12 + years of relevant work experience ideally with 3-5 years of either consulting experience or a technical lead role
- Experience working with Amazon Web Services
- Experience on Pega Upgrade projects and with Pega Cloud Services would be a major plus
- 5+ years Pega Consulting experience - preferred
- CSSA minimum certification, CLSA preferred, training provided
Additional Qualifications:
- Knowledge of database administration (Oracle, Postgres, MSSQL,UDB or DB2)
- Familiarity with J2EE architecture and application servers (Websphere, Weblogic, Tomcat, or JBOSS)
- Knowledge of Operating Systems (specifically Windows, AIX, Solaris, Linux, zOS)
- Familiarity with integration protocols and technologies (SOAP/REST, MQ, JMS)
