As our next Principal Product Manager for Consumer Acquisition, you'll shape how millions of people discover and choose Checkatrade. This role sits at the intersection of product, marketing, and growth - you'll define the vision, ship the features, and unlock the channels that scale our consumer base faster than ever before.

This isn't about incremental change - it's about leading the charge on growth. You'll own the product vision for acquisition, experiment relentlessly, and build the mechanisms that fuel sustainable, measurable user growth across web and app. From optimising SEO and discoverability in large language models, to launching viral loops and referral programs, you'll have real scope to push boundaries and make a tangible impact on how homeowners find us.

Forget long lists, here's what you'll actually spend your time on:

  • Leading and inspiring a cross-functional growth squad across product, engineering, and data to accelerate consumer acquisition.

  • Defining the growth product strategy and roadmap, aligning directly with company-wide objectives.

  • Designing and delivering features that unlock new channels - referral programs, engagement triggers, and product-led growth levers that make acquisition scalable.

  • Partnering closely with Marketing and Data to supercharge performance across SEO, LLM visibility, and paid acquisition.

  • Experimenting continuously with A/B testing and funnel analysis to learn fast, iterate faster, and scale what works.

  • Powering smarter, personalised acquisition campaigns through martech integrations and automation.

  • Measuring and communicating impact clearly, making sure everything you do drives measurable user and business growth.

  • Proven experience driving growth and adoption in a digital, e-commerce, or marketplace environment.

  • A genuine growth mindset - you thrive on experimentation, iteration, and scaling what works.

  • Strong commercial acumen, connecting user acquisition to clear business outcomes.

  • A data-first approach, using insight to inform strategy, decisions, and prioritisation.

  • Experience scaling products across both web and app, with a deep understanding of each channel's growth levers.

  • The ability to move between strategic vision and hands-on detail effortlessly.

  • Exceptional stakeholder management, with the credibility to partner cross-functionally and influence at all levels.
