Principal Product Engineer

We are looking for a Semiconductor Product or Product development engineer to join an exciting fabless semiconductor company developing a range of mixed signal ACISs.
Your Key ResponsibilitiesThe candidate will have full ownership for the production cost and production quality of a range of full custom ASIC products covering a range of market segments including Wireless and Automotive, from sampling to volume production.
Your Key Skills and Experience Essential- Qualified to Degree level or equivalent in Electronics or similar discipline.
- Understanding of the principles behind Analogue and Digital Testing.
- Knowledge of SPC & other semiconductor Yield Enhancement and analytical methods.
- Understanding of IC manufacturing methods relating to Foundry and OSAT.
- Strong communications and interpersonal skills.
- Self-starter can work unsupervised.
- 3 years+ relevant experience
- Experienced in testing Semiconductor devices using ATE or bench test equipment.
- Understanding of package assembly technology
- Understanding of common semiconductor qualification test methodologies
- Understanding of semiconductor reliability and quality standards such as AEC-Q100
- Understanding of the Fabless business model
- Understanding of ISO9000 or similar management systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong and effective presentation skills, able to operate at multiple levels including senior management.
- Self-motivated achiever who gains satisfaction from providing excellent customer service and has a 'can-do' attitude.
- Happy to take ownership of problems and provide suitable solutions.

Position SpecificsThis role is hybrid office/working from home. Our guideline is for 3 days in the office but this is negotiable for the right candidate.
Some travel to customer and supplier sites in USA and Asia will be required.
