The RoleAs Principal Power Electronics Engineer, you'll play a pivotal role in developing next-generation power electronics for electric motors and drives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. You will:
- Lead technical input across design and manufacturing to ensure products meet performance, safety, and sustainability standards.
- Create and maintain Design Verification Plans for new products.
- Develop internal test procedures and external test requests at system, sub-system, and component levels.
- Analyse test data, produce detailed reports, and recommend design improvements.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
- Collaborate with electrical and mechanical engineering teams to deliver integrated solutions.
- Review and define requirements for new products, driving innovation from concept to production.
- A degree in Electrical, Electronic, Mechatronic, or similar discipline, complemented by industrial experience.
- Strong theoretical knowledge of power electronics, electrical machines, and drives.
- High attention to detail and a problem-solving mindset.
- Ability to think laterally and creatively.
- Comfortable stepping outside your core expertise to support all areas of product development.
