As our team has grown, we have an opportunity for a Principal Mechanical Engineer to join our friendly, supportive, and creative engineering team in our Salford Quays office. You will design and specify all aspects of Mechanical Building Services in accordance with current guidelines, standards, regulations, and project deliverables.

About You

You will be a Chartered (or working towards) Mechanical Building Services Engineer with a strong track record in one or multiple sectors that BakerHicks operates in. You should have experience managing medium-sized projects or packages on large projects, and be capable of building, developing, and leading a motivated team. Client care and repeat business are crucial to our success, so developing and nurturing client relationships is essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and specify all aspects of Mechanical Services in accordance with current guidelines, standards, regulations, and project deliverables.
• Manage Mechanical Services involvement in projects, including time, cost, quality, and resources, as well as client relationship management and delivery.
• Monitor and ensure quality and compliance controls within local teams and projects.

Note: Many positions within our company require security clearance. The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain the necessary clearance for this role.
