Title: Principal DevOps Engineer

Salary: Up to £100,000 plus bonus!

Location: Fully Remote!

The Role:

As Principal DevOps Engineer, you'll be the technical lead for all things DevOps and cloud infrastructure. You'll be shaping the future of a high-availability, cloud-native platform and mentoring a small but high-performing team.

You'll have the opportunity to:

  • Own the design and implementation of AWS-based infrastructure (including Lambda, CDK, and Serverless services)

  • Oversee database operations and optimisation for PostgreSQL

  • Drive best practices in automation, CI/CD, observability, and security

  • Collaborate closely with developers working in TypeScript to streamline deployments and architecture

  • Influence technology decisions and scaling strategies at a principal level

About You

We're looking for someone who:

  • Has deep experience designing and running production environments in AWS

  • Can confidently work with Lambda, CDK, Postgres, and CI/CD pipelines

  • Enjoys building tools, automating workflows, and enabling teams to ship faster

  • Is comfortable collaborating across engineering and product functions

  • Wants to have a real impact at a company that's changing how families approach financial education

  • Some experience with TypeScript & Node codebase would be preferrable but not essential.
