Robert Walters is working in partnership with a FTSE 100 Global Consultancy, operating across multiple industries such as Energy, Utilities, Financial Services, and Media. They offer collaborative solutions to clients, ranging from strategy to complex programme delivery and risk management. Due to continued growth and acquisition, the firm is expanding its cyber security offering and will be appointing an experienced Principal Cyber Security Engineer to join their UK cyber team.
This role will pay up to £90,000 plus benefits with a home based working model. As a Principal Cyber Security Engineer, you will design, implement, and manage security measures to protect Azure and M365 estates.
Responsibilities- Implement and manage security measures to protect Azure, M365, cloud infrastructure, and data.
- Provide deep knowledge of Azure and M365 security services and tools.
- Ensure the overall security of cloud infrastructure.
- Identify and implement opportunities for automation.
- Design, develop, and maintain security architecture.
- Mentor the engineering function and provide technical leadership.
- Demonstrate proven experience with Azure and M365 security tools and technologies.
- Apply security frameworks and standards such as NIST, CIS, and ISO27001.
- Use scripting and automation tools (PowerShell, Azure CLI, Azure Logic Apps).
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate
- Microsoft Certified: Cyber Security Architect Expert
- Microsoft 365 Certified: Security Administrator Associate
- CISSP / CCSP
Principal Cyber Security Engineer will receive a salary range up to £90,000. This is a home based remote working opportunity to join a global market leader that has undergone significant investment across Cyber and Technology.
