Principal Autonomy Systems Engineer, ROS2 & C++ Lead

Jonathan Lee Group partnered with an R&D business in Shropshire to recruit a Principal Autonomy Systems Engineer based in Newport. The role is on a 37 hour week with flexibility and a salary between £70,000 and £90,000 per annum (DOE).

You will line-manage a team of 4-6 engineers and coordinate 3-4 subsystem suppliers, ensuring internal and supplier developments converge. You will own the autonomy stack architecture, drive the technical roadmap, and provide hands-on support across perception,
