A healthcare regulator is recruiting a Principal Advisory Lawyer to join their general counsel team. This is a brand-new role and will oversee a team of three direct reports.
The Principal Advisory Lawyer will play a leadership role within the council and will provide strategic, risk-based legal advice across a wide range of complex and high profile regulatory, wider public and commercial law matters.
To be considered you will be a qualified and practising Solicitor, or Barrister of ILEX qualified, with significant post qualification experience of advising on public and regulatory law issues, ideally within a statutory, regulatory or similar framework. Demonstrable experience of managing and developing other, including as a line manager is also highly desired for this role.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is looking to work for a value led organisation which prioritises staff wellbeing and development. You will receive a salary of £74,400-£87,883 depending on experience and will be expected to attend the office 2 days a week.
