Tutor Needed - Year 5 (English & Maths) - Basingstoke
Location: Student's home in BasingstokeSubjects: English & Maths (Primary)Hours: 2 hours per weekDays: Monday or Tuesday (flexible)Start: As soon as possible
We are looking for a patient, engaging Primary Tutor to support a Year 5 pupil in their home. The student has SEMH (Social, Emotional & Mental Health) needs and ASC (Autistic Spectrum Condition), so experience or a strong understanding of these areas is essential.
About the role- One-to-one tutoring in the family home
- Focus on building confidence and progress in English and Maths
- Helping the student remain engaged with learning through tailored, structured sessions
- Creating a calm, supportive, and relationship-led learning environment
- Experience working with children with SEMH and ASC
- Strong background in Primary English and Maths
- Reliable, friendly, and able to build rapport
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
- Consistent weekly session with a single pupil
