Primary Teaching Assistant

Smile Education are currently recruiting on behalf of a primary school - based in Melton Mowbray - who require additional support in one of their Year 3/4 classes. The school are keen to meet Teaching Assistants/LSAs to work as a whole class teaching assistant as well as supporting a small number of pupils with special needs. This position will start after Easter (April 13th) working five days a week for the remainder of the academic year.

• Primary Teaching Assistant - KS2
• Primary school in Melton Mowbray
• £90 -100 per day
• Long term position
• NVQ Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant Qualification or a degree in Psychology or Special Educational Needs would be ideal but not essential
• Previous experience of supporting ASD and other needs is highly desirable.

My client primary school are keen to meet caring, committed and enthusiastic teaching assistants who are interested in supporting pupils with SEND and SEMH needs. This community primary are driven by providing an inclusive education to all pupils.

The school would love to meet any Teaching Assistants that have practical and theoretical knowledge of SEND, especially those with an interest in Autism. They are looking for the recruited teaching assistant to work five day a week in order that they establish a good working bond with the pupil(s) they support.
