Tradewind Recruitment is proud to partner with a welcoming two-form entry primary school in Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire, who are seeking a dedicated Classroom Teaching Assistant to support Reception classes from 23rd February (after the February half-term).

This is a full-time, long-term opportunity, ideal for someone who enjoys working across Early Years as a general TA/LSA/Learning Support Practitioner, supporting children's learning, development, and wellbeing in the classroom.

The Role

  • Full-time Classroom Teaching Assistant role within Reception

  • General classroom support as a TA/LSA/LSP

  • Working alongside the class teacher to support learning activities and routines

  • Providing one-to-one and small-group support where needed, including for pupils with additional needs

  • Helping to create a positive, nurturing, and engaging learning environment

  • Supporting pupils' social, emotional, and academic development

  • Playing an active part in school life and contributing to a positive school culture

  • Teaching Assistants, LSAs, LSPs, or childcare practitioners with experience in Early Years

  • Candidates who have worked in Nursery or Reception settings
