Primary Teacher and Subject Leader Cambridge - September 2026

As a Primary Teacher and Subject Leader, you will play a key role in shaping outcomes for pupils while driving excellence across your subject area. Job Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and implementation of a rigorous and engaging curriculum within your subject area across all year groups.
  • Support and coach Primary Teachers to deliver consistently high quality lessons, contributing to a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Build strong, trusting relationships with pupils, creating a positive classroom culture where all learners feel supported to succeed.
  • Use assessment effectively to monitor progress, close attainment gaps and ensure all pupils achieve ambitious outcomes.
  • Contribute to a whole school culture of collaboration, working closely with colleagues, families and the wider community.
  • Play an active role in staff development, modeling best practice and supporting others through coaching and shared learning.
Candidate Specification
  • UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a strong track record of excellent classroom practice.
  • Proven ability to deliver engaging and impactful lessons that inspire pupils.
  • A genuine belief in the importance of relationships and a commitment to supporting every child to succeed.
  • Leadership potential, with the ability to coach and develop colleagues.
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to working within a team.
