Primary Teacher - Key Stage 2

A welcoming and well-regarded primary school in Enfield is seeking a Key Stage 2 Teacher to take on a Year 5 class from September 2026.
This is a full-time, long-term position with the opportunity to become permanent for the right candidate.
The school has a supportive senior leadership team, strong behaviour policies, and a collaborative staff culture. This role would suit a teacher who is confident in upper KS2 and comfortable preparing pupils for the transition into Year 6.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and deliver engaging and well-structured lessons for a Year 5 class
- Assess and track pupil progress, ensuring all learners are supported
- Differentiate teaching to meet a range of abilities
- Create a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment
- Work closely with the year group team and support staff
- Contribute to the wider school community
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Has recent experience teaching in Key Stage 2 (ideally Year 5 or 6)
- Demonstrates strong classroom and behaviour management
- Has a good understanding of the KS2 curriculum and expectations
- Is reliable, proactive, and committed to pupil progress
- Experience preparing pupils for SATs
- Experience supporting pupils with additional needs (SEN)
- Strong knowledge of assessment and data tracking
- Supportive and experienced leadership team
