Primary SEND Teaching Assistant

Experienced SEND Teaching Assistant - KS1 Location: Barnet Hours: Full-Time Start: ASAP / September 2026 A welcoming Barnet primary school is looking for an experienced and caring SEND Teaching Assistant to support KS1 pupils with additional needs, including Autism and ADHD. The role will involve providing 1:1 and small-group support, helping pupils with their learning, communication, behaviour and emotional regulation.

• Have experience supporting children with SEND, particularly Autism and ADHD.
• Be confident working 1:1 and in small groups.
• Have a calm, patient and nurturing approach.
• Be passionate about helping children develop and succeed.
• Work well as part of a supportive school team.
