Part Time KS2 Teacher (Thursday & Friday)

We are seeking a committed and enthusiastic Key Stage 2 Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in the DN22 postcode area on a part time basis.

This is a rewarding opportunity for a teacher who is passionate about high quality teaching and learning, and who values teamwork, inclusivity and putting children first.

The role

• Teaching a KS2 class on Thursdays and Fridays
• Delivering engaging, well structured lessons that support progress for all pupils
• Creating a positive, safe and purposeful classroom environment
• Working collaboratively with colleagues to maintain high standards
• Role starts ASAP and will run on a supply basis until the end of the academic year

What we're looking for

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential
• Strong understanding of the KS2 curriculum
• High expectations of pupil achievement, behaviour and wellbeing
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
• Adaptable, reliable and reflective practitioner with a positive attitude
