Primary - Sen Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join our supportive team in Haringey. This role is ideal for someone who has prior experience working in a school environment and is passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of students with special educational needs.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Assist in the educational and social development of students under the direction and guidance of the head teacher and SENCO.
• Provide support for individual students inside and outside the classroom to enable them to fully participate in activities.
• Work with other professionals, such as speech therapists and occupational therapists, as necessary.
• Assist class teachers with maintaining student records.
• Support students with emotional or behavioural problems and help develop their social skills.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Previous experience working in a school environment, preferably with special educational needs students.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
