• Hours: Full Time, Monday to Friday
• Duration: Until October Half Term (with potential to continue beyond)
• Daily Rate: £100- £110 per day (depending on experience)

Learning Support Assistant - Primary School

Reed Education are working with a welcoming and highly supportive primary school in the Basingstoke area who are seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join their team on a full-time temporary basis until October half term.

There is also the opportunity for the successful candidate to remain with the school beyond this period, subject to a review of their placement and the needs of the school.

The Role

• Supporting pupils across the primary age range
• Working closely with the class teacher to deliver engaging learning activities
• Providing targeted support for children who may require additional assistance
• Promoting positive behaviour and encouraging pupil engagement
• Helping to create a nurturing, safe, and inclusive learning environment

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience working with children in an educational setting is desirable
• A positive, patient, and proactive approach
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• A genuine passion for helping children succeed
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
