Job Description

Christ Church Bridlington Network (CCBN) is a charismatic, evangelical network of 11 churches across 7 locations. The new Priest in Charge will lead the Network with a missional outlook and a heart for discipleship, embodying the values of Renewal, Restore, Rebuild.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Oversee mission and ministry across the entire Network area.
  2. Uphold and consistently reflect the Network's vision and values in all work.
  3. Embrace existing priorities set by the Network and, over time, collaboratively set fresh ones.
  4. Provide a non anxious presence, managing competing demands with gentleness, clarity and care.
  5. Lead, enable and work collaboratively with the Ministry Team, Network Leaders and Churchwardens.
  6. Ensure the Admin and Operations team works effectively and is well managed.
  7. Work closely with the Bishop of Hull, the Director of Mission & Ministry and other diocesan officers to embed the Network in the wider diocesan strategy for discipling and evangelism.
  8. Be an active member of the deanery and the Deanery Leadership Team.

  • Has a strategic outlook, delegating without needing to be involved in every detail.
  • Prioritises raising up others as a leader of leaders.
  • Is involved in the multiplication and planting of new congregations.
  • Adaptive, flexible and relaxed within a diverse Network.
  • Comfortable ministering in the Holy Spirit with an appreciation of a wide range of worship styles.
  • Confident Bible Teacher.

Appointment is subject to a satisfactory Enhanced DBS disclosure.
