The Chisago Lakes School District, located approximately 35 miles northeast of downtown Minneapolis / Saint Paul, serves about 3,400 students (Pre K 12) across five communities and 165 square miles, including the scenic St. Croix River Valley. The district operates the Primary School in Chisago City for Pre K Grade 1, Taylors Falls Elementary for Pre K 5, Lakeside Elementary for Grades 2 5, and the Middle and High Schools in Lindstrom. The district also authorizes Wolf Creek Charter School and houses the Chisago Lakes Education Center, which offers Pathway to Change and SOAR programs. Recent construction includes a new Lakeside Elementary and Wildcat Community Center.
POSITION: Preschool Teacher - Full Time
LOCATION: Primary School
SALARY RANGE: $27.42 - $33.94 per hour
LICENSE: Early Childhood License
HOURS/DAY: 8 (Monday - Friday)
DAYS/YEAR: 175

To design and facilitate high quality, developmentally appropriate learning experiences that support the growth of each child across the social emotional, physical, cognitive, and language domains. The preschool teacher fosters a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment; partners with families; and collaborates with colleagues to support the success of all learners.
QUALIFICATIONS:- Minimum of four (4) years of preschool or early childhood teaching experience required
- Valid Minnesota teaching license in Early Childhood Education or ability to obtain one
- Strong knowledge of child development and developmentally appropriate practices
- Effective communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues
