Responsibilities Support the Director in developing and executing strategies to increase SSRN's visibility, recognition, and influence Build, manage, and grow strategic partnerships with funders, industry bodies, and key organisations including society publishers Contribute to SSRN's positioning as a trusted and recommended preprint server Contribute to internal strategic projects to improve workflows, standards, and best practices Support high-impact initiatives, including AI-led projects and policy implementation Work cross-functionally to improve discoverability and indexing (e.g. PubMed, Web of Science) Support the Director in identifying and progressing opportunities for global expansion, particularly in China and India Liaise with analytics and processing teams to inform strategic decisions and progress Requirements Experience in scholarly publishing or preprints Strong understanding of policy, funder requirements, and the research ecosystem Ability to build partnerships and influence external stakeholders Experience contributing to strategic and cross-functional projects Highly organised, analytical, and comfortable driving initiatives independently Work in a Way That Works for You We promote a healthy work/life balance across the organisation.
