Precious Metal Hallmarking Technician

The National Association of Jewellers seeks an Assay Office Assistant to assist in testing, assaying and hallmarking precious metals. You will work primarily in workshop and laboratory settings, ensuring compliance with hallmarking legislation and maintaining high standards of accuracy and customer service.

Training will cover handling of tools such as touchstones, XRF machines, laser engravers and various presses, with opportunities to advance in multi-skilled roles within the assay office
