Job Summary:

Seeking a skilled Mechanical Design Engineer with experience in designing mechanical components for heavy vehicles, powertrains, and passenger cars. The role involves collaborating across teams to deliver innovative, reliable, and cost-effective automotive solutions meeting performance and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and validate mechanical parts and assemblies using CAD tools (CATIA, SolidWorks, NX).

  • Perform engineering analyses (stress, thermal, vibration) to ensure durability and performance.

  • Work with electrical, software, and manufacturing teams for system integration.

  • Support prototyping, testing, and validation against specifications and regulations.

  • Identify design improvements for weight, cost, and quality optimization.

  • Participate in design reviews and stay current with automotive technologies and standards.

Functie-eisen

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.

  • 5+ years of mechanical design experience in automotive or related industries.

  • Proficient in CAD software (CATIA, SolidWorks, NX).

  • Strong knowledge of automotive systems (engines, transmissions, chassis, heavy vehicles).

  • Familiarity with engineering analysis tools (FEA, CFD) and industry standards (ISO, SAE) preferred.

  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and multitasking skills.

  • Experience with powertrain and heavy vehicle design.

  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes and sustainable design principles.
